This notice explains how your Dualyx Appointment account and data are deleted, which data you can delete yourself, and how the process works after a deletion request.
Version: v1 · Last updated: 4 September 2026
A business admin can delete the following records from the Panel at any time:
In-business activity records (who changed what, in which area, and when) cannot be deleted from the Panel. They are kept to evidence the account's legal history.
Deleting the business account and all of its data cannot be done from the Panel; it is carried out on request. You can submit the request:
Additional information may be requested to confirm that the request comes from a person authorised to act for the business.
Deletion cannot be undone, so we recommend exporting your data before submitting a request. The Panel produces Excel (.xlsx), CSV and PDF output for the customer list, the appointment list, payments and the business movements report. You can download your business documents from the Panel.
After your request is received, you are given a reasonable period to retrieve your data before deletion begins.
Data deleted. The business record, panel user accounts, customers, appointments, payments, expenses, services, working hours, notification templates, sending records, uploaded files and business settings.
Data retained. Records subject to a statutory retention obligation are kept for the prescribed period. These are in particular:
These records are held solely for the purpose of retention, are not used for any other purpose, and are deleted or anonymised at the end of the period.
When a trial or package ends, your account is not closed: the data remains readable and only creating and changing records is blocked. That is not a deletion and your data is not deleted.
Deletion happens only when it is requested as described above, or when the periods set out in this document run after the agreement ends.
If you are a customer of a business and want your personal data deleted, you must send your request to the business you received service from. That business is the data controller for this data; [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is only a data processor and cannot delete customer records without the business's instruction.
If your request reaches us directly, we will direct you to the business acting as data controller and inform that business.
